My favorite Sound memory is that when we first opened, Jody and I would spend days driving all around the city to inform other providers and potential referral sources of our new clinic. We didn’t know how we would be received - welcomed, dismissed, ignored?
Armed with chocolates and hot-off-the-press brochures and business cards, we covered all of San Francisco. And we did it again the next week. And the next. After awhile, front desk staff got to know us, then providers, and then their patients. We built some very meaningful relationships in those early days with our grassroots efforts and it’s fun to think back to how no other form of “marketing” is as effective as simply saying “Hello, this is who I am. It’s nice to meet you.”
