Fun Fact #6: Walt’s Secret Apartment!
Did you know that Walt Disney built himself an apartment where he could live, work and enjoy the view of Disneyland? If you look up at the windows about the Main Street fire station you can see a lamp that is glowing, and is the location of the apartment that was used for the entire family and for special visitors to the park! No one lives in the apartment today, however the apartment is preserved as Walt left the space. If you want to get an insider’s look inside the apartment (and the park as a whole) book a “Walk in Walt’s Disneyland Footsteps Tour” for behind the scenes access that isn’t usually available to park guests! You can schedule a tour at: 714-781-TOUR.
