Reading Challenge: fun Disney secrets
/In honor of our Summer Reading Challenge, we’re highlighting fun Disneyland secrets all month long. Just another way to motivate you, and get you excited for your chance to win a pair of tickets to Disneyland for reading, or being read to, for 300 minutes this summer (June 28-August 30th).
Fun fact #2: There’s Morse Code at the New Orleans Square Train Station
Stop by the New Orleans Square Train Station and you’ll hear a mysterious morse code message from the Telegraph Office next door. The message is part of Walt Disney’s original dedication he gave on Disneyland’s opening day in 1955. What does the message say?
“TO ALL WHO COME TO DISNEYLAND, WELCOME. HERE AGE RELIVES FOND MEMORIES OF THE PAST, AND HERE YOUTH MAY SAVOR THE CHALLENGE AND PROMISE OF THE FUTURE."
A great message to all who visit the happiest place on earth!
