America's most common workplace injury is hearing loss

According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, hearing loss is the most common work-related injury with approximately 22 million workers exposed annually to hazardous levels of occupational noise. In a Stanford University study by professor Mark Cullen, employees who suffered the most hearing loss were those working in jobs involving moderate noise levels instead of high-noise environments.
