Art Gallery: Communication in Bloom

What does communication look like when it grows? This May, we invited our community to show us—and the results are blooming across our walls! Our Communication in Bloom Art Gallery is a joyful celebration of how people of all ages express themselves through both art and language.

Open to kids, teens, and adults, this creative challenge asks one simple question: What does “communication in bloom” mean to you? The responses have been as beautiful and unique as our patients themselves. Crayon drawings, watercolor paintings, collage work, digital designs—each piece tells a story of growth, resilience, and connection.

Some of our youngest artists drew themselves learning to talk or using their speech devices. Others painted flowers labeled with their favorite new words or expressions. Adults submitted poetic visuals exploring the power of voice, listening, and being understood. One entry from a parent read: “This flower grows from patience, hope, and hearing my child say ‘I love you’ for the first time.” Cue the tissues.

This art gallery isn’t about perfect technique—it’s about authentic expression. It’s about celebrating the hard work, small wins, and big breakthroughs that happen in speech and hearing therapy every day. And it’s about showing that communication comes in many forms—not just words.

All artwork is currently displayed in our clinic throughout the month of May, adding an extra layer of joy and color to every hallway. Patients and visitors are encouraged to walk the gallery, read the stories, and celebrate the courage and creativity behind each piece.

To make it even more fun, we’re offering a giveaway! One child and one adult artist will be selected at the end of the month to receive a special prize:

  • Kid Winner: BT2200-Plus Volume Limited Kids’ Bluetooth Headphones

  • Adult Winner: Custom Concert Earplugs

These prizes reflect our mission: to support healthy hearing, safe listening, and joyful expression—no matter your age.

If you haven’t submitted your piece yet, there’s still time! You can drop it off at the clinic, email us a scan, or create something during your next appointment. Everyone is welcome to participate—patients, siblings, parents, and friends alike.

Because when we let communication grow, we make space for every voice to be heard—and every story to be seen.
