The Super Bowl is coming to the Bay Area

This year the superbowl is coming to the Bay Area, and with it a sleuth of activities! Our team recently learned of the 2026 Super Fest Inclusive Football and Cheer event being held February 7, from 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM at Junipisero High School. In it’s 11th year, Super Fest was created to provide youth of all abilities and disabilities the opportunity to participate in fan festivities that surround major sports events. It began as an inclusive football and cheerleading clinic and gameday experience held the day before the Big Game. Super Fest's purpose is to showcase inclusion and provide an opportunity for youth with developmental disabilities to participate together with their peers, be genuinely welcomed, have activities designed with their needs in mind, and made to feel a part of the big sports games like this years Super Bowl!

Super Fest teaches sports skills for each person at their level. The skills based clinic culminates in a activity such as a football gameday experience with the national anthem, football players running through a cheerleading tunnel, football scrimmages, and cheer performances

The event is hosted by The Matthew Foundation, an organization dedicated to improving the quality of life for persons with Down syndrome and developmental disabilities.
