The Unicorn Clinic Day

One of the activities we are doing with speech therapy kiddos this month (National Poetry Month) is a rhyming Mad Lib about the clinic. Mad Libs are a silly and entertaining way to practice and reinforce:

  • Parts of speech (nouns, verbs, adjectives, adverbs)

  • Grammar

  • Reading comprehension

  • Vocabulary

  • Context

  • Sequencing

  • Story retell

  • Articulation

  • Reading aloud

We’ll be collecting the Mad Libs for a contest that will run through next month (National Speech-Language-Hearing Month). You can do this activity at home by printing out the word list and the Mad Lib form at home. Scan/snap a pic and send to info@soundshc.com or text to 415-580-7604.
