Evaluation

Evaluations at Sound looks at the whole child through a comprehensive and customized assessment. Our team takes the time to learn about your child's communication needs through a family interview followed by an individualized evaluation. Sound therapists use informal, play based, and/or formal assessment protocols allowing for a full picture of your child’s communication.

Following the formal assessment, a written report and treatment plan will be provided. Our team knows that communication doesn’t occur in isolation, and believes in collaborating with the child’s “village”. Once treatment is established our team will communicate with your child’s caregivers, teachers, learning specialists, pediatrician, and/or other specialists to communicate the plan, and learn from other’s about how the child learns best.
