Welcome to the team Chloe

Over the past few weeks you may have seen a new face in our office. We are thrilled to welcome Chloe Erdan to the speech team! Get to know our newest team mate with a little Q&A session.

Describe your role at Sound.

I have the pleasure of working with the coolest clients and their families. I evaluate, diagnose and treat speech, language, and communication disorders. I love learning about my clients interests and tailoring treatment to each patient's individual needs.

Describe yourself in 3 words.

The. Silliest. Goose.

What’s your favorite part of the job?

I LOVE seeing patients succeed and having AHA moments! Being a part of their speech and language journey is such an honor.

What led you to working at Sound?

I LOVE collaboration. Unfortunately, many speech therapists work in their own individual bubble having little collaboration with other professions. However, at Sound *POP!* Sound offers collaboration with Dr. Beer, our on-site audiologist. Working alongside 3 fabulous SLPs and a phenomenal audiologist, there’s always something to learn!

What’s something about you that not many people know?

I’m TERRIFIED of floating staircases! I’m convinced I’ll fall through - haha!

What is one of the things you would put on your “bucket” list?

I’d love to experience the Cappadocia hot air balloon festival in Turkey.

Where are we most likely to find you when not at work?

I love a hustling bustling farmers market! I love picking out some fresh produce, and a couple of pastries for the road.

Before working at Sound what was the most unusual or crazy job you had?

I worked as a barista at a local coffee shop throughout college and grad school. Fun fact: we may not always remember your name, but we sure remember your drink order!

Anything else fun to share?

I will never turn down an opportunity for ice cream or crème brûlée. I’m currently perfecting my crème brûlée recipe!

Welcome SLP Chloe Erdan!
